Direct Sowing:Sow seeds outdoors in early spring or fall. In fall, the seeds will germinate the following spring after being exposed to cold, moist conditions (cold stratification). Light Requirements:Mullein seeds need light to germinate, so do not bury them deeply. Moisture:Keep the soil consistently moist, like a wrung-out sponge, especially during the initial germination period. Transplanting:Once seedlings have a set of true leaves, transplant them into individual pots or harden them off for transplanting into the garden after the last frost. 2. Site Selection and Planting:Sunlight: Choose a location with full sun to partial shade. Soil: Mullein is adaptable to various soil types, including poor or gravelly soil, but well-drained soil is preferred. Spacing: Space seedlings 12-20 inches apart. 3.
